Dr Howard Carr

Howard grew up, and worked on, his family’s grain farms in the northern wheatbelt of Western Australia. He has made a career of analysing early-stage enterprises to identify under-recognised, value-adding opportunities within the resource, agriculture, technology and finance sectors. He co-led the analysis, business development and investment promotion of large-scale agricultural projects in Mozambique and Russia, and multiple resource projects in Australia, Burkina Faso, Canada, China, Mexico and South Africa.

Dr Carr has CEO and board experience with 1 unlisted, and 4 ASX / TSX-listed resource companies, and was previously Senior Resource Analyst at Macquarie Bank. As Innovation Manager at Western Australian Dept. of Agriculture, he designed, implemented and managed the groundbreaking cultivar End Point Royalty system. Howard was inaugural Investment Manager of MWEP, a bio-technology Venture Capital fund which seeded 2 ASX-listed companies.

Dr Carr combines multi-disciplinary science with cross-industry and cross-cultural business development skills to help de-risk and operationalize early-stage enterprises. He founded InterEarth in 2019, is married with four children and one grandchild, and enjoys boating and barbecues.
