Leanne is an experienced finance professional with over a decade of experience in the resources sector in comprehensive financial management and reporting.
As a proud Wadjuk Noongar woman, Leanne has the strength, understandings, capabilities, and skills to work with and alongside diverse cultures and backgrounds. Her balance of professional experiences and stakeholder engagement expertise advocates her strengths in managing stakeholder expectations, form key external and internal relationships, and provide high level support to clients.
Leanne is recognised for her technical skills and is adept in processing and reconciling, compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations, payroll and human resources aspects. Her expertise extends to preparing BAS and IAS reports, EOM journals, forecasts, budgets, and cash flow reports, as well as maintaining asset registers, depreciation schedules, and amortization of borrowing costs. She successfully liaises with auditors, manages inter-entity loan reconciliations, and builds strong client relationships by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing tailored solutions. Proficient in R&D funding reconciliations, insurance administration, and ensuring seamless EOFY reporting, Leanne delivers accurate, timely, and strategic financial insights that drive organizational success.
Leanne is very family oriented with being a mum to two children as well as fostering Indigenous children. Her driving passion is to help Aboriginal people strive and to be a voice for those who may need it, by supporting them through difficult times and encouraging them to find the confidence at school and in life through challenging times. She loves camping and going to the beach as this allows her to connect to country. She has played both state and national level netball, and still plays netball today.
